How is it different from other forms of testing?

The Oligoscan uses spectrophotometry to detect these elements inside the cells, where most metabolic actions happen, rather than observing just what’s circulating in the blood or excreted through the urine or hair. Measurements are taken on the surface of the hand.

Spectrophotometry operates on the basic principle that every chemical compound reflects or absorbs light in unique wavelengths.
